Without a physical first, you could be at risk for several complications. One of these is priapism (as indicated by the four hour erection), which if left untreated, can permanently damage your junk. Other issues have to do with hypotension (extremely low blood pressure).
Cialis, etc., are best left to those who really need it.

I’ve gone to my doctor and he thought it best to prescribe Viagra first for ED then if need be we’d try Cialis. I unfortunately have been having a harder time getting erections and when I do get them they don’t stay around for long and I need constant physical stimulation to keep an erection. It isn’t that my girlfriend isn’t hot, when I kiss her and touch her and everything it responds and acts like its interested but I don’t get hard.
So I’m wondering how much stimulation will I need after taking Viagra/Cialis to get an erection? Will it be strong throughout the entire time I’m having sex?
Just wondering what I should expect when I get the prescription filled and try out a trial dosage by myself to see how it affects me. Thanks for your input.

I’ve tried many drugs like Viagra. But most of all I liked this Cialis. It is really amazing how quickly Cialis works. You just take a pill and 30 minutes later you can already notice the effect! You know, after forty most men start having erection problems and here Cialis is indispensable. You would be very hard pressed to find any reputable pharmacy doing business online as they cannot have the original doctor’s prescription in their hands to prove that it is genuine and that you have been prescribed the drugs you are ordering.
You will also have no way of telling whether or not you have received the genuine drugs or fakes, nor if you will subsequently get further ripped off by the criminal gangs that advertise pharmaceuticals on the internet.
Most Western countries (at least) have very strict controls on drugs and do not allow classified drugs to be shipped into or out of the country.
If you have a need for Cialis then get a proper prescription form a registered doctor and have it dispensed by a reputable pharmacy where you live. Your health is more important than potentially saving a few Euros.

What would be the difference between taking viagra or cialis if I am doing it recreationally? I do not have a problem and would be taking a low dose. Just looking for an extra boost, which one would be better? Will cialis give the extra boost or does it only help if you have a problem? I’ve heard viagra will no matter what.
I will be plenty stimulated and I have no problems the first go around its the second and third that can be a challenge as i get older. I just want to be like when i was younger and not even take a break till everybody is “happy” LOL thanks

Viagra, Cialis and Levitra all work by dilating (opening up) the blood vessels thus making an erection more likely, however you’ll still need to be sexually stimulated in order to actually trigger an erection.
All three of these drugs are similar in chemical composition, they just have slight proprietary differences to avoid copyright infringements.

I’ve been diagnosed with high blood pressure about a year ago. At first, my physician prescribed me with Adalat Oros (Nifedipine). After a while, I experience difficulty to have or maintain my erection. Later, my physician change my blood pressure medication with Blopress (candesartan) after I told him about the erection problem. I have a better erection now, but not as good as I used to be. I’m thinking of trying ED medication like Cialis (Tadalafil) to improve my sex life. My question: Can I use Blopress together with Cialis safely?

Cialis lasted about 17-18 hours?

I took Cialis (36-hour, 100 mg) for the first time yesterday.
The effects were “as directed”, and it worked exactly as I expected it to.
However, the effects lasted only about 17 or 18 hours, not 36 as described. Is this normal? Is it normal for some men to have shorter-term effects?
By the way, it was “actual” Cialis, prescribed by my doctor, and purchased in-person at a reputable pharmacy (CVS).
Also, I am a healthy 46-year-old male.

Aside from the Q that I posted on here, I did some searching at the Cialis website and at the FDA website. Out of hundreds of clinical trials, only about 3% of men experienced effects for 36 (or more) hours. The “mean” effective time was just over 12 hours, with the “peak” effectiveness happening at about 6 hours. Again, I realize these are all averages; it just so happens that I fall into the “Average Joe” category.
The fact is, the time I got out of it was all I needed anyway. Which is to say, my GF and I both had to get up & go to work this morning. Even if it had still been in effect, it would have been useless.

If you read the paperwork that came with it, or listen carefully to the commercials, it says it works for “up to 36 hours”. What that means is, in some men it will work for that long, in others it may be different. As was the case with you.
Be glad it worked at all, ED drugs don’t work for every guy.

Cialis is effective for treating erectile dysfunction so if that is what you have then it is one of the right drugs for you. It should be prescribed by a doctor as it could cause you serious harm if it is not appropriate for you to take it. It can be better than viagra for some people as it has a longer “window of oportunity”. Dont forget that these drugs need to have some stimulation to work so i guess the other guy was doing it wrong. It may be if its not working so well that you need to have the dose changed. Good luck but dont forget to get the cause of your problem properly looked at.
Cialis & Hemorrhoids – What’s the connection?

I don’t have ED, but I have occasionally used Cialis or Viagra when I’m not feeling 100% confident with a new sexual partner. I have had an occasional hemorrhoid condition which brings me to this forum. I’m wondering if there might be a connection between the drugs used to treat ED (i.e. Cialis) and hemorrhoids.
Let me share my experience. About two years ago, I took some Cialis and within a couple days developed my first known hemorrhoid condition. I thought it was just a coincidence. After adjusting my diet and adhering to other remedies the hemorrhoid disappeared. Everything has been relatively normal since then. However, a week ago, I took a Cialis pill and within 24 hours, my hemorrhoid condition was back. Again, I adjusted my diet and everything is improving.
Is it a coincidence again or do you think there might be a connection? I’m fairly convinced there’s a connection, but after extensive google searches, I can’t seem to find any answers.

These meds can have side effects and are you really sure that you can take them without damaging your health? So I’d really recommend you to see the doc and get your free samples of ed meds. Nobody knows which will work better for you and which will have or will not have side effects(viagra cialis or levitra) I like cialis better, takes up to 2 hrs to kick in and the effect lasts up to 30 hrs. Have also tried viagra and it gave me a more intense erection than cialis but unfortunately I had side effects. A weird feeling the nex morning. Viagra took about 40 minutes to kick in but the effect lasts only about 6hrs.
Have never tried levitra so cannot tell you much about this med.
